‘Calling all women postgraduates and recent graduates! If your dissertation, thesis or creative project centres women or girls in Wales, we’d love you to enter the Audrey Jones Memorial Awards 2026. Share your work, inspire change, and take your place at the WAW Annual Conference.’

For individuals who support young people affected by domestic abuse and violence to thrive. Honouring the legacy of Catherine Thomas.

Do you know someone who has made an exceptional difference to the lives of children or young people affected by domestic abuse or violence against women and girls?
Or are you someone whose work empowers young people to feel safe, rebuild their confidence, and thrive?
The Catherine Thomas Memorial Award recognises outstanding individuals across Wales who provide support, advocacy, leadership, and positive change for young people impacted by domestic abuse.
Self-nominations are welcome.

Campaigns for the advancement of equality and human rights for the women of Wales by raising awareness, stimulating discussion, advocating action.
Scrutinizes and responds to equality legislation at the United Nations, UK and Welsh levels of government.
Provides a bridge between policy and research in Wales through supporting academic research including the Audrey Jones Awards for Research by Women.
