Keynote speakers include Prof. Rashida Manjoo (UN Special Rapporteur on Violence
Against Women) and Leighton Andrews AM (Minister for Public Services,Welsh
Government) who will be joined by invited speakers Dr. Aisha Gill, Davina James
Hanman OBE, Dr. Finn Mackay, Karen Ingala Smith and others including Respect,
Imkaan, Public Health Wales, British Institute of Human Rights, Lankelly Chase
Foundation and specialist services in Wales.

UN to investigate violence against women in Britain for first time
Rashida Manjoo, UN Rapporteur will visit Cardiff.

Manjoo has a formal invitation by the British government, and will travel to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff and Bristol. She will present her findings at the next session of the UN Human Rights Council in June.
